  33.                from ALL the InterBBS Doors, into ONE file. The InterBBS.cfg 
  34.                has been changed to accomodate 2 new options relating to 
  35.                this change. This new feature can be used by HUBS, NODES and 
  36.                REGIONALS, whether using a FrontEnd mailer or not.

  38.                In prior versions, REGIONALS were sending more information to 
  39.                the HUB, than was necessary. REGIONALS should now see smaller 
  40.                export files.

  43.                tell INTERBBS whether or not you wish to send a ZIP file of ALL 
  44.                the InterBBS score files to your nodes. If this entry is a Y

  64.                FrontEnd mailer. You will also be required to identify the Door

  103.                created by the HUB and should be made available for Node 
  104.                downloading as is the combined score file.

  107.         [v2.8] We encountered a very strange problem relating to one of the
  108.                scores in the LADDERS game. A score was being generated that
  109.                would cause the LADDERS door to error out with an ILLEGAL
  110.                FUNCTION CALL (Error #5). We have made a change to this program
  111.                to filter out any such occurance that may be generated from any
  112.                other Door.

  114.                If a player wins the game for the month AND is playing on a BBS
  115.                that has not registered that particular Door game, that player
  116.                will be bypassed and the next player from a registered BBS will
  117.                be decalred the winner. Prior versions of InterBBS did not make
  118.                a distinction between registered and unregistered.

  121.         [v2.7] With this release you can now maintain only ONE InterBBS.LOG
  122.                file or continue to have individual LOG files in each Door
  123.                directory. To maintain ONE LOG file you MUST SET an IBBSLOG
  124.                environmental variable. To SET this variable enter the
  125.                following in your Autoexec.BAT file:  SET IBBSLOG=C:\UTILITY\
  126.                (assumming you wish to keep the LOG in your UTILITY directory)
  127.                If you wish to continue maintaining separate LOG files DO NOT
  128.                USE AN ENVIRONMENTAL VARIABLE. You should be forewarned that if
  129.                you are using the environmental variable you MUST run your
  130.                INTERBBS programs single stream ( one at a time ) as the LOG
  131.                file will not behave well if more than one InterBBS program is
  132.                trying to access it at one time!!!

  135.         [v2.6] There were some reports of a 'file already open' errors.

  138.         [v2.5] On several occasions players have shown up in the score file
  139.                with number of games played higher than mathematically possible
  140.                during the month. We have put in a check to ensure that these
  141.                scores are NOT figured into the high score of the month. They
  142.                will still show daily, but will not be figured in when
  143.                calculating the HIGH SCORE for the month.

  145.                There have been a number of reports that the scores from a prior
  146.                month were still in the ISC file for SOME games. This meant that
  147.                the current month scores were not being reflected, although they
  148.                were being accumulated. Upon researching the problem I found
  149.                that the ISC file was not being deleted during the monthly
  150.                maintenance cycle. The InterBBS program will now check to see if
  151.                there are any entries in the ISC from a month other than the
  152.                current one. If entries of this nature are found, the ISC file
  153.                will be deleted and will be recreated the next time the door
  154.                is played.

  157.         [v2.4] Under certain conditions, **Not Registered** was still showing
  158.                in the High Score files, even though the Door was registered.

  161.         [v2.3] BBS' were being rejected, even though the correct information
  162.                was in the IBBSNODE.HUB file. The program was looking for ALL
  163.                uppercase characters only, in the IBBSNODE.HUB file. This
  164.                version fixes that and allows for the use of mixed
  165.                upper/lowercase characters.

  172.         [v2.2] Prior to this version, the program would only recognize that you
  173.                were either a HUB or a NODE. If a Node, you HAD to upload your
  174.                InterBBS files DIRECTLY to a HUB where all consolidation would
  175.                take place. With this version of INTERBBS we are introducing
  176.                another level called a REGIONAL. A REGIONAL can have as many
  177.                NODES as they wish. Their NODES will send their INTERBBS files
  178.                to the REGIONAL who in turn combines them and sends them on to
  179.                the HUB. In turn the REGIONAL would then pick up the most
  180.                current combined score files and make them available to the
  181.                NODES. In this way only the REGIONAL has to call to the HUB.
  182.                A REGIONAL MUST maintain the node number assigned by the HUB
  183.                but may assign any numbers to their NODES.

  191.                If duplicate entries showed up in the ISC files, InterBBS  would
  192.                delete them. However, they would not be deleted immediately if
  193.                the dates were equal, rather the program would wait for the
  194.                dates to be different. The logic has been changed to delete the
  195.                dupes on the same day it finds it.

  197.                NODES (not a HUB and not a REGIONAL) will only export scores
  198.                from their BBS, but will import normally. This will mean smaller
  199.                export files... thus less time online.
